Tashkent is the capital of Uzbekistan, which is famous for numerous museums and a combination of modern and Soviet architecture.  In the museum of the history of Timuridov, manuscripts, weapons and other relics of the famous dynasty are kept.  Nearby is a huge museum of the history of Uzbekistan, where the ancient Buddhist artifacts are presented.  The Tashkent TV Tower towers above the city, from the observation platform of which the panoramic view of the city offers a panoramic view.
